Hello there. Thanks for dropping by! I am thrilled to share this amazing engagement shoot featuring Shara and Michael! This was an AH-Mazing shoot. Shara and Michael both work for the Atlanta Falcons and actually met at work! It only made sense to have the shoot at the newly opened Mercedes Benz Stadium. It was such a great experience. Shara and Michael also love Jeni’s Ice Cream at the Westside Provisions District so we made a stop over there. This engagement shoot was also featured in the Winter 2017 Munaluchi Bride print magazine!! Check out some images from the day!
Hello Friends! Thanks for dropping by. Excited to share Chinyere and James’s Engagement shoot. We had such a fun time on this one. As we were about to begin shooting it started raining! However, we were determined to push through. Luckily we found a bridge and we shot under it while the rain passed. We still had a great time and i am glad we moved forward with the shoot. What else can you ask for 🙂 . The first time i met with Whitney we instantly clicked. We talked for an extended time and it felt like no time at all. I believe in working with couples that are the right fit. When the “right fit” occurs it makes for a great experience not just for the couple but also for me as a photographer. Whitney and Jerome are just straight up cool people and i am glad they brought me along their incredible journey. Congrats guys! I wish you a blessed and happy married life. How they met:
Brandon and I met on an online dating app. What is interesting is that I had almost given up using the app as a way to meet new people. Brandon happened to be the last person that messaged me before I deactivated my account. We conversed for about a month before we finally decided to go on a date. Our first date was at a restaurant and bar in San Antonio, TX. We instantly hit it off. After dating for about 3 months, I got word of an excellent opportunity that required me to relocate to Hawaii. Brandon and I decided we would commit to a long distance relationship.
After over a year being apart, we decided we would take a cruise. The night before we were to sail off, Brandon took me to a restaurant in the Pearl District of San Antonio. After dinner, Brandon suggested that we walk around and take in the beautiful scenery. During our walk, Brandon shared his plans in life and how he wanted me to be a part of it. He also expressed our deep love for each other. As we headed back to the car to return home, Brandon stopped once more. This time, he was on one knee with a white box in his hands, and the words “Will you marry me,” came out of his mouth. Filled with joy and excitement, I shouted “YES!”
Hey friends! Thank you for visiting my blog. Today, i have Erica and Michael on the blog! When we were brainstorming for the perfect engagement shoot concept one thing that came up was Michael and Erica’s love for music. I immediately started researching locations that would bring the idea to life. I found a disco wall and boom box wall and knew it would be perfect. Erica and Michael went to the Georgia Aquarium for a date when they first met so we incorporated that in to the shoot. Lastly, Since they are huge falcons fans we wrapped up the shoot with the Mercedes Benz stadium as a backdrop. I had soooo much fun on this shoot and looking forward to capturing their special day. Today, i am excited to share some images from Georgette and Edwin’s wedding. After shooting this wedding i realized Cameroonians sure know how to party. I really think we nailed it. We started out at the Underground Atlanta then Old Fourth Ward Park and ended the shoot at the Jackson Street bridge. Looking forward to capturing their big day today!! Martinique and Harrell flew me out just to be a part of their special day. Truly grateful!! I enjoyed every minute of this wedding. If i had to describe this wedding in one word it would be “PARTY!” . It was a party from the start all the way to the end. I could feel the energy and love in the building. Hello! Thank you so much for dropping by. Today, i am sharing Sherell and Elijah’s amazing Houston Texas engagement shoot. Sherell and Elijah wanted a shoot that showed their style and love. I definitely think we were able to accomplish that. From the enchanting mansion to the Cullen Sculpture Garden to the beautiful Rice University campus, the shoot was simply amazing from start to finish. Our proposal is probably one of the best days of my life. It was Christmas evening of 2015 and I was home in Mississippi for the holiday. My two best friends, parents, and niece were all at home enjoying ourselves like normal. Well I was upset with Elijah because he was suppose to be coming to my house from Alabama to visit me but told me earlier that day that he wasn’t going to make it. Well I was all in the Christmas sprit and enjoying my family. I remember everything happening so fast. My niece brought me a box that was wrapped so pretty and she told me it was for me. I remember saying wow I got another gift. So I opened it and it was a note inside that said “Guess whos getting married??” I still didn’t get it. I remember saying who is this for. And before I knew it one of my favorite songs by Charlie Wilson “You Are” was playing in the back ground. The garage door was going up and Elijah was standing in my parents living room. I remember screaming.. “What are you doing here”. Everyone was screaming and clapping. He didn’t answer but got down on one knee and had the most serious look on his face. He talked about how it was time for me to see just how serious he was and how he was ready to spend the rest of his life with me. I screamed so loud when he opened the box and I saw my ring. Apparently he, my sister, and best friend Miracle planned everything and everybody knew. Even my parents were in on it. It was really exactly the way I had always dreamed and couldn’t have asked for it to happen any better.
